” Serving healthy food and sweet treats, in a cosy venue with stunning views, we provide an ambiance and activities to stimulate memories and conversation. We serve home cooked food, all made from the freshest of ingredients which have been  locally sourced where possible.

We aim to combat loneliness and social isolation, support people living with dementia and their carers, and help the older community to keep active. “

” “We opened on 31st August 2017 and love the community that we’ve become a part of.
We serve homemade healthy food, afternoon teas, and sweet treats – check out our menu.
We’re off the beaten track, and have been described as ‘a hidden gem’. Once you find us you can sit and look out over the Shirebrooke Valley, or browse through our books, play some board games, or put on some records. We also have a toy box for our younger visitors.
We’re a memory and conversation cafe and love helping people meet up and make new friends, you’re very welcome to come alone and we’ll sit and chat. But don’t worry, if you want a natter with a friend, a quiet coffee with your mum, or some food with friends we’ll leave you to it and you won’t be hurried out. We very much believe time and food should not be rushed!
Here’s what people say about us –
“The food was absolutely delicious and the birthday cake was out of this world!”
“What a great little find this place is”
“We had the most wonderful afternoon tea”
“Lovely staff, gorgeous food, great atmosphere”
“I came on my own and felt very welcome”
“It really is a café for the community and loved by the community” “
